Camp Rock
The 2008 American musical television movie Camp Rock was helmed by Matthew Diamond and was based on a script by Paul Brown, Julie Brown, Karin Gist, and Regina Hicks. Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Meaghan Martin, Maria Canals-Barrera, Daniel Fathers, and Alyson Stoner star in the 73rd Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM). A teenage pop singer at the camp is completely captivated when he hears her singing (but cannot see her) and sets out to discover the girl singing so beautifully. She must first face her phobias before leaving the kitchen and entering the spotlight.
