Childhood
Govind Ahuja was born on December 21, 1963, in Bombay (VRIAR TODAY). His mother was the former singer and actress Nirmala Devi, while her father was also a former actor Arun Kumar Ahuja, best known as Aroon. Govind has five other siblings. He graduated from Vartak College with a Bachelor of Commerce.
Acting Career
Immediately after the college, Govinda, was driven by his father, began looking for work in the film industry. His uncle Anand gave him the first major role, in Tan-Body, a film he headed, in 1985. In 1986, he appeared 86 and Ilzaam, both of them were great commercial success.
In 1989, he made more than half a dozen films, most of them were well received by the public and critics. Awaargi came out in 1991. It is an instant blow and is now considered classic classic in India. Besides Govinda, the film also featured Anil Kapoor and Meenakshi Sheshadri. Unfortunately, the next film is not delicious. Hi’s money, Honey Hi, was released in 2008, was a failure at the office box. Chal Chala Chal did better and Govinda was praised for her appearance. However, he was not ready to ignore his acting career and was under an intense fire by the press for his absence from parliament. In 2008, he resigned from his post and retired from politics.
Personal Life
Govinda married Sunita Munjal in 1987. They have two shared children, Princess Tina Ahuja and Son Yashvardhan. Tina was also an actress and debuted in 2015 with a role in a used husband.
