When high sound mitigation efficiency is needed between noise-sensitive areas, a steel acoustic door is required. A strong degree of sound isolation is accomplished by the use of unique linings, caps, and structurally bonded cores. This door can be seen in studios, galleries, and auditoriums.
General Statistics:
- Acoustic steel doors are made of 1.2 / 1.6 wide GI board.
- Rockwool is used as infill filler for both the door and the frames.
- On request, a special Astragal is incorporated.
- Sealing the gap between the door and the frame.
- On request, special glass (soundproof) will be provided.
- As a regular feature, a double-glazed vision screen is included.
Acoustic doors or soundproof doors are the best suited for acoustic conditioning of the space among all professional doors. In reality, the acoustic doors or soundproof doors are the main components for room insulation alongside acoustic ceilings and acoustic panels.
All should recognise two simple circumstances in which soundproofing is necessary: when outside noises make the internal acoustics of the room annoying or when inside sounds are molest or when nobody wants it outside. In all scenarios, space is aimed at providing independence and soundproofing from the outside, and the usage of acoustic doors or soundproofing doors requires soundproofing operation.
Acoustic doors or soundproof doors can be used at various isolation thresholds (32 dB, 34 dB, 38 dB and 42 dB) by the insulation standards needed for acoustic space conditioning and accreditation. Finally, you should mount acoustic doors or soundproof doors with a glass visor or some other hardware or accessory given the aesthetic specifications of a space.
WOODEN ACOUSTIC Frame: – 55mm to 76mm composite sandwich tone minimising flush door shutters. The cumulative collection of door frames and door shutters shall be as follows:
(a) Door frame shall be made of teak/hardwood scale – 110 mm X 100 mm, including the requisite grinding grooves in a frame for fastening EDPM style hollow bulb taps on rebates to block noise leaks between the door frame and shutter.
(b) Shutter frame shall be constructed from 40 mm thick teak/hardwood and top and bottom 94 mm and lock centre 100 mm wide and 40 mm thick rails with three extra lines 50 mm wide and 25 mm thick.
(c) The heart of the door shutter shall be packed with material for acoustic insulation, acoustic absorption and damping.
(d) Face panels must be 12 mm thick Marine panels of authorised manufacture, on both sides of the centre of the shutter with the appropriate base at the unexposed surface, in accordance avec the applicable IS codes and international standards. The heart of the shutter must be attached to one side of the plate with a 5 mm thick Neoprene rubber layer on the inside face.
(e) 01 mm mica OR 04 mm wide Teak Veneer of licenced facilities shall be bound by a high-resistance cross-connected PVAC-based adhesive with a 12 mm wide marine plyboard on both faces of the shutter.
(f) Deposit Seal: – Excellent selection of Internal Automatic Dropdown Seals produced from good quality raw materials. This Internal Automatic Dropdown Seal can be tailored to our valuable customers. This internal automatic drop-down seal is famous for its reliability and quality. Internal Automatic Dropdown Seal may be used at a leading industrial expense. Sound resists up to 37db, air, insects, cold smoke, and light. Built for doors made of wood (wooden).
(g) Hardware – Door frame fastened with high duty stainless steel equipment, such as Door Lock, SS Bal bearing hinge, ‘D’ SS door handle, SS Tower bolt.
Conclusion: These acoustic doors, which have a basic look, will also give the same finish as most standard doors (laminated HPL, veneers, MDF for painting, lacquers, etc.). They have specific sound insulation screens at different points on the entrance, to ensure the sound density of the enclosed room.
