NBC has canceled another hit TV program before viewers can get the right conclusion: a good girl. The serial, which revolves around the trio of women who dig is increasingly deep into the criminal world after illegal desperate action, will end in the fourth season. The fifth season planned, unfortunately, will not come from Netflix.
A good girl is a NBC event broadcast by the network and is also available for streaming on Netflix. Retta star series, Christina Hendricks, and Mae Whitman as a friend / nurse who robbed a grocery store, guided them down the road to crime that continued to increase because they (literally) made money for noble – and then not – the reason.
This event has proven popular among viewers but it seems to be the victim of a big shift in the way people watch TV: on their own schedule through streaming services. According to Hollywood reporter, this series is not a hit when it comes to linear television broadcasts, where it fails to sweep the numbers between the main demographics that the network expected. Although the show proves that streaming services are far more popular, which are accompanied by their own problems.
Netflix previously scored Streaming VOD and the global right for the show, which means good girls cannot make streaming transitions only to the relatively new Peacock NBC platform. Although the fifth and last season in this series it is planned, it will not eventually make the transition to become netflix.
This might be maturity, in part, with the cost of production Netflix will be faced if deciding to continue with the original fifth season, according to the report. This is not the first show we see NBC canceled in recent weeks. The network recently canceled Manifes without giving the right conclusions, even though rumors say that Netflix chewed the numbers to see if it might be interested in taking the show for the additional season.
